The NASA High School Aerospace Scholars program, (HAS) is an authentic learning experience for Texas high school juniors to engage with NASA’s mission to become the next Artemis Generation of explorers and learn about different STEM-related fields of study they might want to pursue in college.

Students who complete a series of online assignments and pass the online course participate in Moonshot.

Moonshot is a virtual gamified team experience to plan an Artemis-themed mission to the Moon and Mars under the guidance of NASA scientists and engineers.

Top teams from Moonshot are invited to a two-day onsite experience at NASA’s Johnson Space Center in Houston. The online course, virtual Moonshot, and two-day onsite experience are all free to participants.
